My Favourite Homemade Chili Promfet

I got this recipe from a friend. Its easy and simple to make. First of all you must prepare the ingredient.


Get a large promfret fish
Cooking oil (I prefer palm oil)
50 ml of water
Blended red hot chilli (about 250gm)
2 large onions (any type)
5 cloves of garlic ( to be blended)
1 bruised lemon grass
Salt and sugar
Little pinch of turmeric
3 tablespoon of tamarind (put it more as you like)if you like it to be sour)

After the ingredient is ready..

Rub the fish with salt and a little of turmeric as even as you can.

Leave a while.

Take the chilli, garlic, lemon grass, salt, sugar, tamarind juice, garlic and onion and put it in a blender. Blend it.

Leave it for a while

Now get back to the fish. After about 1/2 hour, fry the fish until it is nicely.

Then by using the same oil fry the blended ingredient. Until you certain that it is ready...Just pour it on the cooked promfret fish. Now it is ready to be serve.

You can use the chilli or cabbage to decorate it.
